I want to come speak to your youth group, college group, or young adult group. Hey, if you want me to, I’ll come speak to your whole church. So please shoot me an e-mail at bookings@steveglosson.com and let’s set something up. I would love to fill my calendar for the Fall, Winter, and even Spring of next year before the Summer is over.
What do I bring to the table you ask? Well, that’s a good question.
Ultimately, I want to serve the ministries that use me. From speaking to large or small groups, to spending time with your volunteer staff, to washing dishes (if that’s what you want.) That’s what I feel called to do. At this point, I’m not selling a new exciting book that I’ve written, I don’t have a huge kiosk full of Christian T-shirts to seel, and I don’t think that I’m the ultimate answer to all of your ministry needs. But, if there’s a place for a guest speaker who truly enjoys interacting with the students to whom he is speaking…I’m your man.
Onto some exciting news. Well, it’s exciting for me anyway. On May 21st, (5/21) we will be launching a new podcast in affiliation with this site. 521 (Five Twenty-One) The podcast will be updates on where I will be speaking, some specific thoughts on youth ministry, some thoughts on scripture, and some clips of me speaking in different places. I also hope to have the occasional guest on. So point your browser to where you’ll find an RSS feed, the podcast, and ways to subscribe, and keep up with what’s going on with me and 521.
Finally, more than anything else, I would ask that you pray for me as I try to get the calendar filled up, but more importantly than filling the calendar, I ask that you pray that I go exactly where God would have me go, and that I go in His leadership, never relying on myself or my talent. Ultimately, we desire to see people come to know God through Christ and Christians living fully out of the grace given to all of us. So regardless of a full calendar or not, it’s all in vain unless God is in it.
Thanks in advance for your prayers and support, and I hope to hear from you soon.
